Considering the extraordinary circumstances we now find ourselves in, the elders have decided (with great sadness) to follow the Government guidelines and suspend ALL our church meetings and activities until further notice, both at the church building and in private homes.
Moreover WHBC does not and cannot encourage private meetings of any sort to be held instead of our usual gatherings. We encourage everybody to keep closely the Government guidelines, stay at home and do not travel unless strictly necessary. Also, do practice social distancing and avoid any kind of public and private gathering.
Despite all this, however, we want you NOT to fall into despair or panic: we have a great God who is in control and to whom everything is submitted, even Covid-19! Jesus has conquered death and we wait for His sure return. As we do so, let’s re-learn appreciation for every day of life and health, the joy of little things and the blessings of being part of the Lord’s family. Let’s also be creative in the way we can show affection and care to each other, even though unable to be physically close to each other.
